We are a romance book box that specializes in NSFW covers and art. We have two sub boxes and a pre-order box.

What is your DeLust Box?

Our DeLust box is a pre-order box that falls outside of our subs.

Every DeLust box is slightly different in what is featured, but most have the following items:

I just subscribed as a sub what box am I getting?

Twisted Desires boxes are bi-monthly with the cutoff date being the 5th of every odd month. If you order after the 5th of an odd month, your payment will be applied toward our next box.

After Jan 5th - March box

After Mar 5th - May box

After May 5th - July box

ETC

Example: If you purchase a box on March 10th, you will receive May's box.

Please note that because we are bi-monthly orders placed directly after a cut-off date will have an extended wait since the order will be applied to the next bi-monthly box.

Provocative Pages is our monthly box, with renewals falling on the 20th of each month. Orders placed after the 20th will receive the following month's box as their first box.

Example: If you purchase a box on July 28th, you will receive August's box.

Your sub invite will also include the first box you will receive.

Do you ship internationally?

Absolutely! The carriers calculate our international shipping, which is not within our control.

Please note that several countries that do not allow NSFW items to be imported. We are unable to special package items to accommodate this. We also do not recommend buying from our shop as we will not replace any items confiscated by customs in those countries.

We are not responsible for packages once they reach a forwarding service.

How long is your processing time?

Timelines can vary from box to box. One of the biggest factors is the government approval required by our printer for NSFW content and artwork, which must be completed before printing begins. While this process used to average around 7 weeks, it's now taking anywhere from 2 to 6 months, depending on the content.

To help manage this, we’re submitting titles several months ahead of subscription renewals to reduce delays — though in some cases, longer turnaround times are still unavoidable.

For preorder books that do not require this extra approval, the typical turnaround time is around 5 to 7 months. However, please note that we may not know if a book will require this additional approval until after preorder sales close. This is a risk customers take when purchasing NSFW covers from us, and we appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to deliver high-quality, beautifully produced editions.

Can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription anytime through the online portal. If your subscription renews, we are unable to cancel the order or provide a refund.

Once a subscription is cancelled you are not able to reactivate. You will need to rejoin the waitlist.

Am I able to skip my upcoming box?

Twisted Desires Bi-Monthly Box and Hooked on Him allow one skip per annual year.

Provocative Pages Monthly Box allows three skips per year with no consecutive skips.

You may submit the request through your customer portal. You must submit the request before the payment is taken.

The year is measured by your sub date and not the calendar year.

Do you accept returns?

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges. If you have any issues with your order, please email us at support@nocturnalinkbookco.com

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for boxes cancelled.

Initiating a chargeback results in additional fees and account penalties for our business and can impact our standing with our payment processor. Doing so will result in a ban from our shop.

My book box is damaged or missing items?

If you have missing items or damage to your items, please contact us so that we can assist you. All claims for missing or damaged items must be submitted within 14 days of the delivery date.

Damages are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Damage includes missing pages, tears, visible gashes on the cover or spine, residue or marks that can't be removed, extremely dented or crushed corners, and ripped or bent pages that impact readability.

What we do not consider damage is wavy page due to humidity, slightly creased/bent top or bottom of spine, and ripped or damaged pages that do not affect the reading experience. Marks on the back of the cover. 

Photos of the damage and proof of purchase are required.

If your damaged item meets the qualifications, you must return your book to us before we can send a replacement (a return label will be provided).

We will not replace orders that are shipped to an incorrect address due to customer error. This includes addresses entered incorrectly at checkout or addresses that were not updated before shipping. Please make sure your shipping information is accurate and up to date before each shipment goes out. Orders sent back to us due to incorrect addresses may be reshipped at the customer's expense.

For orders that show as delivered to the correct address but are reported as missing, these will be handled on a case-by-case basis, but cannot guarantee replacement. In these situations, a ticket will need to be opened with the shipping carrier, and we’ll work through the resolution.

Do you have overstock?

Yes!

Our subscribers receive a 1 hour early access to overstock.

Provocative Pages overstock - 25th of each month at 2pm CST

Twisted Desires overstock - 10th of every odd month at 2pm CST

These account for skips and cancellations and are not ready to ship overstock items. They will ship at the same time as our sub boxes.

DeLust Overstock typically is announced around 2 weeks after shipping is complete.

Overstock is never guaranteed and typically only accounts for extra we buy for damages and replacements.

Australia Shipping Regs

We want to be as transparent as possible with our customers in Australia. Due to Australian import regulations, certain adult or NSFW materials may be restricted, and while the majority of our shipments arrive without issue, a small percentage (around 20%) are occasionally returned to us by customs.

By placing an order with us, you acknowledge that this is a potential risk when purchasing NSFW content internationally. If an order is returned, we will make one attempt at redelivery. While we have never had a redelivery fail, it is still a possibility due to regulations that are outside of our control.

We understand this can be frustrating, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work within international shipping guidelines. If you have any concerns about this risk, we encourage you to consider it carefully before placing your order.

Shipping questions

Nocturnal Ink will change shipping addresses for individual or all orders. You must email support@nocturnalbookco.com for address changes or previous orders.

Address changes must be requested before labels are printed. Please follow us on Facebook and/or check our shipping updates tab for shipping timeframes.

If your item is returned to us for address failure that is not our fault you must repay for shipping.
